Firefighting and fire history books by award winning author Paul Hashagen. 

Paul is a forty year veteran of the fire service. He retired from the FDNY after 25 years of service with 20 of those years in Rescue Company 1 in Manhattan. He is also a former chief of the Freeport (NY) Fire Department and a life member of Truck Company 1. Paul has written nine books and numerous stories and articles for major fire magazines, and has appeared on several History Channel programs as a fire history expert. He was inducted into the Firehouse Magazine Hall of Fame in 2017.
